What Does a Home Inspection Include?

The home inspection process is a “defined” process—it isn’t open ended. In Washington, Home Inspectors are governed by the Department of Licensing, and follow the Washington State Home Inspector’s Standards of Practice. In general, the home inspection process includes the: exterior, foundation, roof, grounds, plumbing, electrical, interior, crawl space, attic, and all home inspections include a FREE Washington State Department of Agriculture “Pest and Dry Rot” Inspection.
